Gumby – Drum and Bass (Crown Artist Management, darkwaxradio, dnbtv.com)
Chuck, aka DJ Gumby has long been one of Winnipeg’s top drum and bass djs. With his training in classical piano as well as saxaphone and clarinet, and interest in punk and electronic music, Gumby’s approach to drum and bass is unparalleled. His mixes are well known for getting dancefloors grooving with a mix of dirty basslines, crazy drums and unexpected vocal samples. Gumby has played along side some of DnB’s greats in his over 12 years behind the wheels of steel, including Craze, Hive, Marcus Visionary, Ill-Esha, B. Traits, Capital J, Tech Itch and Dylan. For 3 years he has co-hosted Rinesout Radio on Bassdrive.com and for 1.5 years has hosted The Beatdown on PlanetDnB.com, and has recently made the move over to dnbtv.com with a weekly show. His long running fascination with electronic music still coarses through his veins, and will get you feeling the bass.

DJ Korea exploded into the scene in early 2006, with his artistic outlook and utter devotion to the music, it didnt take long for success to come ringing at his door. It’s been a busy year so far, aiding in promotion on events as well as playing at many he still finds time to get his hands dirty with various dnb/dub club nights, radio guest spots and production/remixes. DJ Korea has proven he can rock a crowd big or small. Whether its dubstep, bassline house, speed garage, dnb or straight up break beats, you know it’ll be fresh!

For the 3rd year in a row Duck N Cover brings you an epic rave of monster proportion. Witness the craziest all ages Halloween show around with live DJs, dirty beats and one hell of a good time. We’re pulling out all the stops for Hell-O-Ween 2009 and you can guarantee this will be a night to remember. We’ll be bringing some of Winnipeg’s finest talent as well as some old friends from past Hell-O-Ween’s to drop dance floor bombs on Thunder Bay. Korea and Paladin 6.0 will be making a return to the Hell-O-Ween stage, and Gumby will be making his debut appearance in thunder bay to spin some of the slickest dnb around. With a lineup like that in addition to Perosity, Doran, and DJ Savvy you’ve got the makings of one hell of a show.
