HELL-O-WEEN 2009
by Doran on Nov.08, 2009, under News

Just wanted to extended a big thanks to everyone who made it out to HELL-O-WEEN 2009!! There was a lot of things happening Halloween night, and we’re really thankful for everyone who made their way to 807 for a crazy night of dirty beats & relentless drum and bass. Special big ups to GUMBY for making the drive from Winnipeg and blasting Thunder Bay with his signature style of quick mixes, unexpected & on the fly looping and intense track selection. PALADIN 6.0 had a fantastic dark & evil set as can be expected from the most vile & sinister robot around. Special thanks to G-Fresh who was able to fill in for Korea on very short notice and drop a wicked fidget/electro set.
With so much going on the days leading up to the party we unfortunately had some last minute issues with the projectors, and were not able to get the 3d movies & visuals going – huge apologies for this. We had 200+ pairs of 3d glasses ready and everything in place but just couldn’t get things connected properly – so we’ll have to try this again at another show.
We hope you all enjoyed our last 16+ show for a while. Pictured are posted and some video will soon follow.

Thanks everyone for coming out! Special mention to the crew from Winnipeg who spent 8h in a car just to get to the show (not to mention the drive back) – you guys are epic!!
Also massive respect & thanks to Kerrie Nation & The Incredible Melting Man for delivering one hell of a dancefloor beatdown.. London djs always tear shit up – and this was no exception!!
Can’t express how good it was to see soo many people on the dancefloor all night. Crowd was great, djs were awesome, music was fantastic! The local support for these shows has been really amazing – I always hear how much fun the djs have playing for you guys and how much they enjoy coming up for shows and seeing a crowd of people go off to their beats! You definitely deserve a pat on the back, high five or whatever. You’re what keeps the music alive in this city – and with your support we’re going to keep that going.
Much love & respect to all who came out – see you next time
